In a real life, potentially life threatening situation, typically the attacker is always going to look for a victim who they believe to be easy prey, to try to overpower their victim and get them to an extremely vulnerable position. The best way to avoid being harmed is to know how to defend yourself.
Our program incorporates Jiu-Jitsu training, one of the best forms of self-defense for women. Women learn to defend themselves from those dangerous positions and also use those situations to their advantage.
Even the smallest of women can defend themselves against a much larger attacker if they are being taught Jiu-Jitsu the correct way. It doesn’t require a large amount of strength or athleticism for self-defense, especially if the attacker or opponent is untrained.

A lot of women, who step on the mat initially just want to learn self-defense, usually end up taking their training to the next level in the sport! It’s almost like playing chess. You learn the basics, and then the counters to the basics; and then you begin to learn the counters to the counters and so on, until finally you’re playing the Jiu Jitsu game.
